This card is a representative of the quack medicine of the Nineteenth Century, claiming to be a cure for "Dyspepsia, Indigestion, Malarial Fevers, General Debility, Loss of Appetite, Nervous Prostration, Headache and Hypochondria." The back markets this product to "Clergymen, Counsellors, Journalists, and all persons of sedentary habits."
